Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts


Many of us grew up fearing brussels sprouts because of how they are depicted in movies and tv, but have you tried them lately?  Your taste buds change every 7 years…it may be time to give them another try.  I have a friend who every 7 years tries something she used to hate due to this fact; while she still doesn’t care for some, others are new favorites.  Don’t deny yourself a possibly new favorite flavor due to old memories, give them another chance and try them today!

Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts
2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs balsamic vinegar
1 tsp honey
ounces brussels sprouts

Preheat oven to 350.  Pour brussels sprouts onto a large sheet pan then drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, and salt.  Toss with a spoon to coat brussels sprouts in olive oil mixture.  Roast brussels sprouts for 30 minutes, stirring half way through to ensure an even roast.
